FAQ

Common questions

Do I really need a written policy?

Yes — 49 CFR §382.601 requires every CDL employer to have a written drug & alcohol policy and give it to drivers, who sign a receipt. An auditor will ask for it.

What if my consortium is someone other than Assurity?

No problem — at the next step you can enter your own C/TPA and MRO, or leave those blank to fill in later. If you enroll with Assurity, we fill them in for you.

Is this legal advice?

No. It's a professionally-built, customizable compliance template. Adoption and legal sufficiency for your operation are your responsibility; you may wish to have it reviewed by counsel.
